So cool you know about Turkish coffee I wasn't aware people world wide know what it is, I live in Serbia but everyone here drinks that kind of coffee. I think that smell is of raw ground Turkish coffee it can even tickle my nose little bit in same way as finely ground coffee. Very spot on review, I agree with score. I was few times almost ready to pull the trigger but I have Pure Coffee from 2008 version and it's just so much better... It's weird how easy it was to get good designers back then and we didn't appreciate it enough :) So I won't be getting this one but I like it very much.

I agree this is good not great, finally got a bottle of Mugler A*Men and it’s great (just more of a personal enjoyment scent given my wife and kids hate that scent profile 😂). I’ll search through your videos, what’s your top 1-2 By Kilian?

My favorite from ByKilian. I do also love Follow, but i find it can be difficult to wear in many situations, where Intoxicated is more versatile and i think broadly appealing. similarly, I have Awake which is a 9/10 but I find people react to poorly, versus Coffee Break which I think is appealing to anyone, as you say, like walking by a cafe and catching a waft of Java.

Hi Marc! I noticed that Kilian's perfumes that had a silver plate and turned gold became less potent and more diluted. I first noticed this in Black Phantom. I agree that the best coffee is in Follow. When you can, review Followed!

I just had a sample of it, I'd have to do testing with a full bottle to help out. Always trust your nose and if it's cloying to you then avoid spraying near the nose including the neck.

I love the stuff, but I love A*Men so.....there's that. 🤣 Actually layers better than A*Men too. But too pricey to warrant a full bottle for me. Most gourmand formulas are stealthy money makers after all.

It's a solid release. According to the NYC rep., appropriate for year round use. I agree with you year round but clime influenced.

Full on agree with the n.h comparison, never thought of that before. I enjoyed it, if the price was a bit lower I might consider purchasing it. It's tough with amen and even la nuit for the cardamom to justify the price point.

I tested this one a few years ago and it instantly reminded me of Amen. If TM ever discontinue Amen, i know where to go. For now though, im happy enough with Amen 👍

@robes08 Yes but i don't know how long for. The reviews on TM UK website for Amen are not good. There are loads of people complaining that it is reformulated and doesn't smell like it did. It's only a matter of time before it bites the bullet i reckon. Poor Thierry will be rolling in his grave 😔
