I can’t thank you enough Dr.Zach…words can’t express my gratitude…you became a ray of hope to a 15 year old graduate…my prayers will be with you forever…

In October I had a subarachnoid hemorrhage, ivh, encephalopathy, 2 bouts of vasospasm, intubation, seizures... I discharged from hospital after 6 weeks with a permanent shunt, did a week in inpatient rehab and have been home since. All things considered my deficits are minimal. I appreciate your chats as they help me understand what happened and the seriousness of it. Great job. Oh...fibromuscular dysplasia...

Thanks for sharing your expertise, I suffered a head injury my brain was without oxygen as I couldn’t breathe for about a minute because I fell from a ladder and knocked the air out of me, and I couldn’t sleep for 12 days maybe 2hrs daily and was acting strangely according to my family. I also developed grey rings around my eyes that weren’t there before, and had bruising behind my ear I believe I might have also injured my liver

My father was hospitalized due to a brain intracerebral hemorrhage in pons and medulla on May 14, 2024. He was transferred to the ICU and put on a ventilator just three hours later. Despite his critical condition, he miraculously regained consciousness on May 17, 2024. I was by his side and witnessed him responding to my requests to move his hand and leg. Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated, and he passed away on May 21, 2024. The doctors attributed his decline to his pre-existing kidney disease, which made it challenging to administer all necessary medications, as his creatinine level had risen to 4.1."

I was struck with a metal baseball bat in the left brow of my face giving me a linear skull fracture that went in ward instead of fracturing out. I chose not to get the surgery to put a small plate there that would restructure my brow so I hold the same deepened scar as it is. I have felt the same nerve pain that runs along my brow, all across the top left side of my head to the back crown of my head where it feels like my nerves are constantly in stress and pain from when I have received this injury and have never been to a proper doctor after a visit with a primary care physician that resulted in them wanting to put me on depression medication. Please help with any suggestions, thank you

What would you do for a hemorrhagic stroke for intracranial pressure? would it be the same and use mannitol even tho it is blood in the brain? or would you use mannitol because the brain would swell from the blood?? im confused? or would you do something else for hemorrhagic stroke?
