the last supper was the Passover meal. It was roast lamb with bitter herbs. Jesus is the work the unleavened bread and wine eaten are symbol's of studying the word and suffering persecution for obeying Christ's laws and commission. Jesus was arrested the night after passover meal. So wasn't eaten by the apostles. They wouldn't have eaten a human being any way. From the Lexham Bible Dictionary Sampler pg. 187: “1QIsaᵃ preserves a text type that, while close to the traditional Hebrew (Masoretic) text, also contains over two dozen readings where it agrees with the early Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible (the Septuagint, or LXX) rather than the MT [Masoretic Text]. Some would assign 1QIsaᵃ to a text type distinct from those of both the MT and the LXX (Ulrich and Flint, Qumran).” “Although the biblical scrolls from Qumran generally retain a more ancient form of Hebrew than that which was actually spoken in that day, some claim that the scribe of 1QIsaᵃ [the so-called Great Isaiah Scroll] clarified the text of Isaiah for an audience that no longer understood some classical Hebrew forms, updating and including more popular terms for a contemporary audience (Parry and Qimron, New Edition).” (in the same source. pg. 187.) Parry and Qimron undoubtedly were guardedly referring to Dr. Solomon Zeitlin who likely “threw the baby out with the bathwater.” Professor Zeitlin got to read only some of the evidence from Qumran in the years it was being discovered (1948-1956) because there are only 10-12 rather-well to quite-well preserved scrolls and many of these were published in the beginning. but there’s about 900 manuscripts from Qumran and almost all of them consists of tiny, brittle fragments which were extremely slowly edited over four decades by an exclusive four-man team before they were published in 1991. And virtually no one else had access neither to the scrolls nor even to photographs of the text until they were published. (An article from February 12, 1956 in the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (est. 1917)) Prof. Zeitlin Disputes Value of Dead Sea Scrolls for Judaism The Dead Sea Scrolls “have no value for Judaism or the history of early Christianity” Dr. Solomon Zeitlin, professor of Rabbinic Literature at Dropsie College, said last night at a lecture here. He asserted that the scrolls are not of great antiquity, but were written in the Middle Ages by “none too literate writers and hence have no value for Judaism or early Christianity.” Dr. Zeitlin based his argument on his study of “the internal evidence” in the scrolls. He pointed out that the spelling of various Hebrew words and terms which occur in the scrolls did not come into usage among the Jews until the Middle Ages. He also indicated that the scrolls contained references to Jewish laws which were not in vogue during the pre-Christian period but were enacted centuries later. “If one assigned to Shakespeare the authorship of a newly-found manuscript wherein there were words like Fabian, ‘telephone’, ‘automobile’, ‘New Deal’, and reference was made to laws which were enacted in the Victorian age, would any student of English literature regard the manuscript as that of Shakespeare?,” Prof. Zeitlin asked. “Similar reasoning applies to the Dead Sea Scrolls,” he said. Prof. Zeitlin also disputed the importance of the famous “so-called Manual of Discipline” of the Essene sect, and the Commentary on Habakkuk and the Zadokite Fragments in which the expression “Teacher of Righteousness” is held to be significant for anticipating the ministry of Jesus. “Detailed study of these scrolls show that they were written in the Middle Ages by uneducated Jews who either belonged to one of the Karaitic sects or were influenced by one of them”, he claimed. (source: www.jta.org/1956/02/22/archive/prof-zeitlin-disputes-value-of-dead-sea-scrolls-forjudaism) The Habakkuk Commentary (1QpHab) is carbon-14 dated as late as AD 122. It and the Community Rule (1QS) which is carbon-14 dated as late as 2 AD were found rolled together as one, packed the same way in which the Great Isaiah scroll (1QIsaᵃ) was packed. Initially upon discovery, they appeared to be two black wax or tar covered cylinders. Being sealed so kept them extremely well-preserved. The Great Isaiah scroll was first carbon dated as late as 1 AD but the scholars date it to 160-200 BC. i figure the scribes had some old skins to use and faked the old lettering for the "Great" Isaiah Scroll (1QIsaᵃ) and then later time-capsuled it for the very purpose it's serving twodaze whirled because a comparison of the most quoted by the writers of the New Testament book, that is NT verses of Isiah (alone) to the Masoretic Text vs. the Septuagint will show how the current Hebrew text is scrubbed of Messianic verses.

Ted - MT is a rabbinic rewrite 1000 yrs after the DSS, now limited to just the 24 books first adopted by the Pharisees, then Judaism and then Rome who re-numbered them as the 39 books of the OT. Esra, Epiphanius and Nicodemus all say there were 24 ‘public’ books freely available to all ..... and 70 ‘hidden’ books for the wise held exclusively at Jerusalem and Alexandria (origin of the true LXX) with loose copies held by the exiles of ‘the way’ at the Damesheq monastery (or Khirbet Qumran its Arabic name) which indeed are the DSS. If the translation of the hidden 70 were for a Greek audience, as claimed by scholars, (the Jewish OT24 being freely available) they would have been called Evdominta ? not Septuagint a Roman name for 70 or LXX ? Rome of course destroyed all these library collections, Alexandria, Constantinople, Jersusalem and Damesheq so its hardly surprising if we conclude that truth is being withheld both then and now.

@@TedBruckner Ted - 1st witness = 1Esdras is all about rebuilding the 2nd temple, in 2Esdras 14:20 Esra rewrites the Hebrew scriptures as he complained to God the scriptures were all burnt during the captivity. You have to compare several versions and read the footnotes but CEB and RSV all confirm Esra (and 5 named scribes) re-wrote 94 books, God told him to publish 24 books for the ‘worthy and unworthy’ - this became the Jewish OT which Rome re- numbered as 39 books in 325ad.... but said keep the 70 last (hidden) ‘for the wise amongst the people etc’.... this is the true 70 later corrupted into Septuagint LXX a Roman designation. There are also 2 missing verses here which add dating info. The DSS are remnant copies of the hidden 70 held by the Zadokite exiles at Damesheq monastery (Qumran) with the original in Jerusalem and a Hebrew and Greek copy with Ptolemy at Alexandria. The Henry VIII great bible 1539 introduced the corruption of 904 or 204 books were translated but that is an easily proven scribal error when all other ancient refs say 94... Total 94 = 24 formally adopted by Judaism in Jamnia 95ad and 70 kept hidden. 2nd witness = Epiphanius who confirms the translation in great detail, a Hebrew copy was sent from Jerusalem but a 2nd letter was sent asking for them to be translated into Greek. then names the 72 translators from all the 12 tribes ( not just Judah) and the process on the Pharian isle of Anoge He also confirms 24+70 hidden but is of course denounced by Christian scholars as it raises difficult questions as to why Rome adopted Esdras (as seen in KJV 1611) but then only has some of the 70 in their deuterocanon of 14 books eg Toviyahu (Tobit) Judah of course adopted 24 and preferred their oral trads of elders rejecting the messianic 70. 3rd witness = book of Nicodemus (Acts of pontius pilate) confirms in chap xxii that a great book of 70 was held in the 2nd temple so big it had to be carried by 4 men.... then quotes from the very 1st book, a direct quote from the ‘books of Adam and Eve” The Jews were of course historically in subjugation to Greek hasmonian rulers with Greek kings and priests and then under Herodian Edomite priests when Rome took over, hence Greek titles for the torah like Genesis etc. They never really knew the hidden 70 left behind when taken captive to Babylon hence Math 22:23 not understood if you’ve not read Toviyahu or Tobit. I did a video on the false LXX using these sources click icon

Ted - I agree with the comment above that “the DSS have no value to Judaism and Christianity” as indeed they contradict the teachings of both. Of course anyone recognising these religions do not hold the exclusive truth will value them as ‘priceless pearls’ which may go some way to explain why they were controlled, have not been freely available and became fragmentised. Better to ask did the Messiah read all these scrolls in his day ? or did he confine himself to just the 24 books adopted by the Pharisees, then Judaism 95ad and then Rome which codified them as the OT of 39 books in 325ad long before the Masoretic Text was written in 900ad. Thank God for 2Ws who are coming to put this right !!

I dont believe any sort of Christianity came out the life and times of the Essenes. If anything, the Essenes would have come to Christ. Yeshua Jesus preached "follow me" not follow us. From what I've learned of the Essenes they practiced a very strict form of asceticism which some Greek philosophers, Buddhism, and Hindu yogis practiced to attain spiritual enlightenment. Essene cult leaders preached denying yourself of life pleasures, extremes in fasting and purity rituals also led to shunning the sick, lame, diseased, blind and so on. Jesus viewed all to be sick and in need, physically and spiritually and healed all that came to him, denying nobody. If early Christians had been of the Essenes, the Bible would have said so and Jesus would have pointed out the error of their ways to be acceptable to the Kingdom of Heaven.

There is also an enlarged Vav standing for the 6th Millennium. Together the year 5707. The year 5707 was the Gregorian year Fall 1946- 1947. During Sept 1946 (Tishrei 5707), ten of the 11 Nazis convicted at Nuremberg were hung with Julius Streicher, one of the hanged Nazis, being dragged across the floor yelling Purimfest 1946! The 11th Nazi who committed suicide the night before and avoided execution was Herman (Haman) Goering. Seems pretty prophetic to me. Esther and Mordechai were given Divine Revelation on the exact year that Haman's descendents would be hanged at Nuremberg including a "reincarnate" of the vizier himself. Bet you did not know this. People make assumptions about things because of lack of knowledge.

According to Jewish tradition whenever the text says King Achashveirosh (Xerxes in Greek. They pronounced gutturals as Xes.), it refers to Xerxes alone, but when the text says The King (HaMelekh), it refers to G-d Himself turning Xerxes's heart. In one part, it says that Haman weighed out 10,000 kikar (talents) of silver to purchase the Jews for slaughter. From the text in Exodus we know that each kikar of silver was 3000 shekels. We also know that Joseph was sold as a slave for 20 dinar of silver. There were 4 dinar in every shekel. So Joseph was sold for 5 shekels, the same cost in the Torah for redeeming a first born son. We know from Exodus that all Israel is called G-d's 1st born. And we know that G-d at the time accepted Haman's price because the text at that point only refers to The King. So how many Jews did Haman purchase for slaughter? Well 10,000 talents x 3000 shekels per talent is 30 million shekels of silver ÷ 5 shekels for each Jew = 6 million Jews purchased for slaughter...... Hmm. Who am I to question the ways of G-d? But before you decide that this or that book is Divine, do more research.

“To unlock the truth about the sons of light?” The Bible already does that. Nothing to see here. But good try.

How does the Bible do that ? Jesus the devout Jew?

How could you study the scriptures so closely and still be a Catholic? God spends the entire old testament destroying idols

They aren’t, they are as important as s copy of a marvel comic 2000 years from today. These people though magic was real. The though weather was determined by gods mood.

I wish people on here would stop watching these videos to find their Jesus, but watch it for what it is. Jesus is a myth if you don’t believe ask a Jew, or look up “do Jews believe in Jesus” Jesus is a myth just like Roman gods are thousands of years later. We know that through science not a quack like Jesus.

@@badindian9862 what basis do you have to support that claim? I have concrete evidence that exists outside of my faith in scripture to confirm that the biblical events are not just metaphorical, they are quite literal. & the Bible speaks of those who will try to distort & water down the truth, as you are.

You're confusing the Museum of the Bible scrolls with the authentic Dead Sea Scrolls. The scrolls discovered in Qumran in 1946 are authentic.
