You did a great job explaining everything! Its been a while but I got a job on a tender/processor in the Bristol Bay. A crew of 30 processors and 10 for the boat. Be the best worker of your organization, find things to do if there is "nothing" to do, have a good attitude and doors will open becuase your reputation will spread. After 3 months on that tender I stepped off onto the baddest King Crab boat in the fleet.

Just got an offer to be a deck hand on a boat for king salmon season. Super excited, Turns out the guy I have been talking to about fishing here on the lake is a captain and he was like. "hey you wanna go do this for a job?" hahah yes, yes I do.

I own a tender in SE and holy cow did I get some real green ding dongs who want a job 😂😂😂 people just don't realize you're on a boat the entire time and most people can't handle that isolation
