In this video, we'll be introducing you to some of the key concepts in calculus, specifically derivatives, limits, and tangent lines.
We'll start with an overview of what calculus is and how it works, then dive into the basics of limits and how they relate to derivatives. We'll explore how derivatives are used to measure rates of change and slopes, and how they can be used to solve real-world problems in fields like physics, engineering, and economics.
We'll also cover tangent lines and how they are used to approximate functions and determine the behavior of curves at specific points. You'll learn how to calculate derivatives and use them to find the equation of tangent lines and slopes.
Whether you're a beginner looking to get started with calculus or an experienced learner seeking to brush up on your skills, this video has something for everyone. By the end of this video, you'll have a solid understanding of the basics of derivatives, limits, and tangent lines in calculus.

Picking math up as I try to switch careers in my 30s; these concepts seem even easier to understand than when I was studying them 10+ years ago! Thank you Jason for putting in the effort and sharing your invaluable knowledge.

I think there are many quantities in nature which have constant velocity and so their inst velocity. There are also quantities like throwing a ball in the air, calculating it's velocity at different instant of time is important. There, the derivatives are helpful.
