Intro to Double Sleeving Japanese Sized Cards

Let's start double-sleeving our cards for maximum protection!!

My pleasure. And yes, other youtubers should show you how the deck should look like. I didn't know when I first doubled sleeved my deck and then I needed a deck box with more capacity.

i decided to go with the outer dragonshield sleeves the inner felt too tight might damage card@@casualtheeduelist

@viizva i know what you mean. I once bet one if my cards because the sleeve was too tight. It wasn't a inner sleeve, though

Excellent video. I watched the entire thing. I noticed the card you used to demonstrate is warped, similarly to my cards. I have a question about this. Does using the Outer Sleeve help the card lay flat? Does it straighten it at all? Thank you

Thank you for the kind words. And about your question, yes it does. Ofc, when the sleeves are brand new, it will get slippery when you stsck them together, but after some shuffling it will be more "gripable"

@@casualtheeduelist I appreciate the fast response. But I think you are misunderstanding my question. I am referring to how bent the card itself are once in the outer sleeves. I have a lot of warped cards which do not lay flat in regular sleeves. So I am considering also using the outer sleeves in an attempt to remedy this. This is what my original question was about, not the way the cards feel. I hope this helps explain what I meant.

Then yes, the card will lay flatter if you use an outer sleeve, ofcourse if the card is too warped, is not going to help a lot, but using already 2 sleeves will help to straight out the card, specially if you use the DS outer sleeves which has a sturdier back than other sleeves

Is that triple sleeving at the end or just regular sleeve plus outer sleeve

From left to right: Double-Sleeving with outer sleeves, then, Doyble-Sleeving with inner foldable sleeves, and last is Double-Sleeving with normal inner sleeves
