***Correction***: I misspoke in the video and said that batteries only store 20% of incoming power, when I meant to say they do not store 20% of incoming power. Batteries store 80% of what they receive.

I’ve never thought i would need electricity and never bothered to learn it, this is a simple tutorial that helped a lot!

Great video! I think I would have really appreciated the way you explain everything in detail while I was learning this stuff. I think this is exactly how every guide video should be done at least when focusing on the more beginner stuff.

I really liked this, i recently learned how to automate smelting (way easier than it sounded). I’m looking into some more advanced stuff and I really want to learn more about auto smelting and sorting. I understand that has to do with automation and not electricity so it probably won’t be in the advanced electricity video but I’m looking forward to seeing a video about automation and advanced electricity. I’m gonna check your channel for automation vids now 👀

Thanks! Auto-smelting is a game changer, just be prepared for the lack of charcoal lol you can automate that as well, though. I will definitely be doing a few videos on auto-sorting and general automation, probably sooner than later!

Im hoping to build a scrolling text display using the industrial lights and creating a binary interface to store the letter data so that the text repeats when it scrolls through but i dont know how the electric component work lol

I wont lie, that's an ambitious project! Definitely doable though, you'll just need to set up some binary circuits and a lot of repeaters. Ill be covering some of those in upcoming videos, Ill try to include some examples that would help you accomplish this!

But is it rlly worth the struggle on a weekly wipe

I think so! Once you get the hang of it you can set systems up pretty quickly, and the time you save by having loot be auto-sorted, auto-smelted, or lockers/TC auto-restocked is definitely worth it for me, even on short wipes.
