great explanation, but your pronunciation of the word "son", is completely off.

Hi Christina, there are a number of different pronunciation systems that are used in the study of ancient Greek. The system that I use is explained in lessons 2 and 3. Note that in this system, the upsilon and iota combination (diphthong) is pronounced like the ui in suite. Note also that the rough breathing mark adds an "h" sound to the beginning of the word.
