It so amazing how youtubers on biology are saving our a**. They explain way better than our professors in classes. They just throw the lessons on our faces like dirty laundry and we have to sorte them out by ourselves. My classmate just send me this video to watch and I like it. Your explanation is clear like crystal. Thanks I appreciate it 🙏

I'm taking anatomy and the way the teacher explains it feels overwhelming to me, she doesn't break down the word like "striated" and "pseudostratified" and how simple squamous means one layer of flat cells, it helps so much how this professor makes it easier for us to understand what is what. And the pictures too, thank you so much for making histology interesting and learnable!!(:

I understand tissues. I can memorize the different types of tissues, their functions, and locations. But I CAN NOT for the life of me figure out what they all look like because they all look the damn same and my teacher told me “epithelial tissue has a lumen but connective tissue doesn’t, what look like lumen on the connective tissue are actually cells” well let me tell you the lumen and cells look IDENTICAL and then she told me to look at the nuclei within the actual tissue to be able to tell where the cells are...but BOTH pictures of the tissues have nuclei that isn’t in the white part (the white part is the lumen/cell I’m talking abt) also because we were looking at adipose tissue which has fats and oils in the cells, the nucleus is pushed to the side so you can’t even see it under the microscope😑 There’s no way for me to differentiate them. I give up.
