OH. MY. GOSH! Lawn Fawn have knocked it out of the park again! I NEVER understood how slider cards worked until today! I can't wait to get my hands on this die - it is so clever and takes the guesswork out of it! Love all the projects and how each one has a different twist on this type of card. It's like when I first saw colour television (which was 1974 here in Australia) after having black and white TV for most of my childhood - it literally blew my socks off! Thank you for being such an innovative company that brings out such fantastic products that breathes new life into cardmaking time and time again.

I bet you could use crayons on the edge of the inserted piece of paper to make it go in and out smoother. It's the same concept as using a wax candle on the inside of wood drawer pulls.

Is there a trick to stamping the acetate exactly in line with the stamped image on the card? You seemed to have just eyeballed the centre and got it perfectly in line. That wouldn't work for me. Thanks

I have tried TWO of these now, the magic slider cards, and despite everything, careful die cutting and the slider appearing to have enough room to slide easily, the slider is getting hung up somehow after assembly and it is NOT moving very well at all. It feels like it's getting hung up on something! Any suggestions? Thank you.

I have heard that Stazon ink and Stazon stamp cleaning solution will harm clear stamps. Is that true? I really want to make some of these, but I don’t want to ruin my stamps.

Hi Sherry, the solvent cleaner for Stazon ink can be pretty harsh on your stamps. We don't mind a little ink stain on our stamps so we just use a damp Shammy to remove excess ink. :)

We use a bunch of different brands of die-cutting machines. There isn't one we would recommend over the others. :)

I love these cards. They are so pretty. Unfortunately they are too complicated for my family and friends. I gave my sister a card that is similar and she tore it apart because she assumed it should open. I told her it was a slider card and put PULL on the tab but nobody reads the directions so she rips it apart. sigh.

Yes, you have that right. However, my sister tore the card apart right in front of me. I love her but at the same time she's a pain. LOL I have friends who make cards so they get the fancy ones. I gave them your link and now they are watching you make cards also. I like your presentation. Not to slow and not too fast. I can make these cards too. They turn out great as well.
