Graph databases are a much easier way to represent real-world data, and the relationships between entities! Check out the ArangoDB #opensource database platform, in this introductory video! ArangoDB isn't a traditional database. Instead, ArangoDB allows you to store JSON documents in "collections" and create "edges" between "nodes"!
ArangoDB offers an HTTP REST API that you can use to interact with the engine, using any programming language that you wish. There's also a web user interface that can be used to create and manage data, before you learn about the APIs. You can even visualize graph data relationships inside the ArangoDB web UI, between different documents.
