Respectfully, I think this is the exact attitude that Roy and his team have to avoid. We all want them to keep making the high-quality presentations they're known for, and that means they need the freedom to change whatever needs to be changed. Eventually, they'll have enough on-camera highlights of Roy that it'll make sense to re-do the intro with those, and when that happens they need to do it. That said, I'd both be shocked and question their judgement if they removed Paul from the intro completely.

Roy as you stated Paul hated scopes/optics and hardly used them thus never really covered them. The spirit of this channel is education. I’ve seen Paul shoot from cars, in bed etc on this channel. I think giving education on optics is outstanding. Also seeing as the shooting world is moving to optics the channel can help with optics and helping people decide and set up with/without co-witness, pop up on and offset. There’s a lot of material to discuss in optics as well as Paul would say “what works best for me”. R.I.P. Paul
@Bob-gy6ud5 ай бұрын
Another topic Roy that may be right up your alley (I’m assuming you’re a history guy) is going through older styles of shooting. I’m a firm believer just because a style is no longer used doesn’t make it worthless. Like single handed shooting, if 1 hand or arm is injured or not present for disabled viewers that topic would be relevant. Another style is how to use lanyards and slings another antiquated style that can be useful to some/any shooter that would rather have and not need than to need and not have

I don't know if he does, but from his preference for the green reticle, he may. The red reticle is slightly blurry for me, while the green reticle is sharper.
