Why we need revit? Why don't include the few BIM features on rhino and forget REVIT. Rhino 3d is a much better software than any autodesk made

Sometimes. There is a AddByMesh component under Geometry. But other component may not make meshes. It all depends on what Revit can take at different levels. For instance in a Family only NURBS are possible at this time.

@@Rhinoceros3dthanks for your answer! I was asking because of trying. To create compounds by "basic" method, I got that sometimes (often...) RVT has many difficulties to import/read complex geometry and meshes, even if as a link. In other words, if I need a component by a mesh to describe a building compound it's impossible to get it often if that mesh is from a scan (so really complex as polygons, for instance). That's why I was asking, because it could be amazing to get compounds for heritage by meshes, because sometimes Rhino makes polysurfaces by mesh difficulty depends on its polygons (number, intersection, etc...). Hope to be clear... Anyway, I understood I could use this tool just by using RH v7 WIP, right? Because I have v6...

@@scarcinho Yes, RVT can be finicky about the BREPS. But we are learning how to fix them. Please send us the shape and we can take a look. Too many point and edges that are less then 1 mm are typical problems RVT does not like.

​@@Rhinoceros3d because of we can have a quick detail of a building decay we got a scan with so many points and so we get a detailed mesh and if we try to cut down its polygons you can understrand we should't go under a certain dimension, because we can lose some detail... Thanks for your answer!
