Amazing series. This has taken my understanding to a level that I thought wasn't possible.

This is great! I actually created a similar system that uses scene time to drive the "simulation" before 3.6. With this method theres quite a lot of new possibilities. One question though, how do I chose when the simulation starts? I want a number of explosion each initiating in different times. This was easy to do with the scene time system simply using a map range node. How would you approach this in simulation nodes?

Thanks a lot, Johnny! Super useful, as always. It's funny though, that while we've waited for Node Particles for years and it never happened, Simulation Nodes essentially replaced it (and the old particle system for me), without even being positioned as a system for particle simulations :)

Hey - sorry dunno else how to reach you but I'm having problems with Patreon right now (as do a lot of people, I believe) so it might be a while before I re-pledge :-(

No worries, thanks for any support you’ve given in the past. If supporting me is ever a problem, then I would want you to stop!

@@JohnnyMatthews It seems Patreon messed up something and now many payment options are being declined. I hope they fix it soon. Cheers!

I’m sorry, I’ve had a lot of life going on, combined with a huge Blender dry spell. Hopefully I can get some new vids out in the not too distant future.
