I haven't seen anything announced about Alex stepping back from his role, but introducing Alessandro as the new "modding lead" implies that Alex is no longer in that role. It's good form to be open about these sorts of things, as this really detracts from what is truly great news. I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering if Alex is still going to be involved with bit-tech, or if he's going to be doing his own thing. With that all said; Benvenuto, Alessandro, non vedo l'ora di vedere i tuoi video! :)

Alex has already said himself in videos he's not going anywhere, but the workshop renovations and setup will take a lot of time, hence Andy's increased presence with Mod of the Month and Alessandro producing modding content; how can Alex be "modding lead" if he's MIA for a couple of months? Whether this is permanent remains to be seen since Alex is moving into manufacturing. I'm not sure how not mentioning Alex detracts from Alessandro's introduction and new role though.

Otherwise you'll be distracted by where he went and go to the comments section like I did instead of watching the video. Shoutout to the hardcore bit-tech viewers like you but not everyone is as dedicated.

It's interesting looking back over this given the news today out of Hexus (that bought bit-tech a few years ago) that the whole business is now being shuttered. Mad to think it's gone from investment in Alex getting a new workshop to the entire business being closed, though not surprising given the owner of Hexus' past behaviour.

Well Alex said in the latest video he wanted to start manufacturing not only for him but for the community, so I kinda see this announcement as something related to that and the time it would take to renovate the new workshop. I would not be suprised if it could cause a conflict of interests having a company (that he have since 2013 - www.praetex-design.com/ and respective KZbin Channel - kzbin.info/door/G20v4VYlYOn7N_QbguQhhg ) and advertising on BitTech Channel. But I'm just assuming things without any concrete proof. I would simply wait for a official reply from the parties involved (I checked BitTech website and the forum and didn't got anything).
