You're a good man giving those kids some lures to try out and catch some fish...they're not cheap so I hope they appreciate you :)

Thank you I love helping out the fishing community they were really nice. When I started out most people I ran into never really helped me. Some people were really nice but some were rude as well. So I like to help them out that way they’ll learn and they’ll have a fun time on the water.

bit late to the party man, I've had my channel almost 2 years. If you want any recommendations let me know. The Zephyr is sub par, was OK 2 years ago but tonnes of better options now. My channel is basically reviewing budget BFS rods and reels.
@SinghFishing20 сағат бұрын
For $50 the Zephyr doesn’t feel too bad, I do agree it’s nothing compared to other reels for around the same price but for an entry level reel that can throw light lures and medium size lures it’s pretty good. Bfs has been around for quite some time now i agree but it’s still new to the Australian market. Many of these reels have to be imported from Japan or the US. There’s only a handful of shops that sell these. But it is a rising topic among anglers now with the term being searched now more than ever. You’ve done a great job putting out bfs videos I’ve seen a few of em.

Thanks mate. Had about 20 BFS reels and 30 rods. Surprisingly the ones I want to sell move reasonably quickly so it's definitely more well known. @@SinghFishing

yo Shahil i went yesterday near the pier you told me and caught nothing no one else got anything near me either so i moved to the other pier and some people were catching and i got 2 hits with the spinner you recommended but im glad to see you had some Though can't wait for the next video!
@SinghFishing2 ай бұрын
Yo whats up Sammy, they might need a few days to adjust I reckon but good that you got bites though. Did you try the spot in the video?
@Sammys-Fishing2 ай бұрын
@@SinghFishing no unfortunately i thought you meant to the right of the pier i passed that spot though and i did not see anyone catching the wind was coming towards us though so i don't know are you still up for wednesday i will send you the details. now i want to get a BFS reel and rod lol!
@SinghFishing2 ай бұрын
Let me know where you’re headed on Wednesday I should be free. I have to book an appointment for an accountant as well so I might only be able to fish for a few hours. I recommend getting a bfs setup it’s pretty fun haha.

Nice trouts! Wish there were trout stocked near me but maybe i'll come across some in different areas. Just bought a Sougayilang baitcaster reel since the jarvis walker baitcaster reel broke xd, prob wont be any better but its good for learning. Fishing gear on temu are hit or miss sometimes, the nets are good and the fishing line, the lures kinda rust quickly so wouldn't recommend, but yeah, there are some hidden gems on temu. Keep up the uploads!!!!!!

Trout are so much fun are you close to any trout streams? Did you say you were heading to a trout river near Penrith or something for a holiday how did you go? I rarely ever buy anything from Temu but I like to get weights and stuff from there cause they are so much cheaper. Ali express is better in my opinion cause you can get stuff from the us and it arrives pretty quick.
@idkhowtofish2 ай бұрын
@@SinghFishing The penrith spot is a bit over an hour away and didnt even go cause it was raining heavy, the other trip I didnt go cause got sick xd. I've never use aliexpress but temu seems better due to less than 2 week shipping from china, and occulasinly free items, I got multiple free items including a nice net that uses rubber
@SinghFishing2 ай бұрын
@@idkhowtofish Oh wow didn't realise temu also has fast delivery. I remember years ago it would take a month or two from sites like temu haha.

@@SinghFishing Haha yep, also gives credit if it arrives past 12 days. Guess thats how it blew up!

WHat is the difference between BFS and the utralight baitcasting I have done for years?
@SinghFishing2 ай бұрын
Pretty much the same thing but with certain bfs reels you can fish even lighter with lures going down to a gram. The lightest reel on the shelves at the moment is the 100 or 150 size which cast anywhere from 8-50g. Check out the Ajing fishing technique, It's more popular in Japan and it's all about ultralight fishing.

Yo, let me in the secrets of karkarook lake, I went there and caught nothing😢
@SinghFishing2 ай бұрын
The lake has lost a lot of water throughout the years I recommend moving around the lake and finding the new dropoffs. What do you use bait or lures?
@EdwardYang-wu7yq2 ай бұрын
@@SinghFishing I used powerbait and worms. For lures I used dr minnow, soft plastics (strike tiger) and spinners
@SinghFishing2 ай бұрын
@@EdwardYang-wu7yq Those are nice lures they all should work I reckon you may need to move around and find where the fish are holding up. Btw are you using 6lb leader with 40-60cm leader and a really tiny hook for the powerbait? I remember one time I was fishing and my hook was too heavy for the powerbait to float. Also try to use splitshots instead of a running sinker rig. Last year I went with my mate and everybody including us was using some form of a running sinker rig. It wasn't until I retied and chucked on 2 small splitshots we started catching fish.

Introducing 😂 only 4 years late
@SinghFishing2 ай бұрын
It’s still new to Australia you won’t find bfs gear in major retailers at the moment. From the list I was given by Shimano Australia they have only introduced 1 bfs rod in their 2024 release. The only place you might find any bfs gear is at complete angler but my local store Dandenong didn’t have any. If I was to release this video to the American audience I’d definitely be 4 years late.
