Really enjoying your channel! How does the liquid mysis compare to reef roids (or similar products)? And what was the yellow stuff added to the tank at 4:21?
@BlueReefTank3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The liquid mysis has a really strong smell to it and everytime I put it in my tank, my corals always open their mouth like instantly. I have used reef roids in the past but can't really tell the difference. The yellow stuff is either the AF Vitality or AF Amino Mix 😁

Did the lfs tell you they eat fish quite well? Looks fantastic though
@BlueReefTank3 жыл бұрын
I did a bit of research and apparently their sting is even weaker than Aiptasia 😅 Not too worried about it at this stage. My fishes are all fine too.

I should have read the comments, I just asked this question. The rearch I have just found say many people keep them with no problems at all and is only a small % that have had baby clown fish eaten. I guess the babys try to host and face doom!

How much of that AB energy stuff should I be adding to my 20 gallon tank? I got all sorts of coral and just added a tube anemone
@BlueReefTank3 жыл бұрын
I added the AF stuff one drop once a week but you can add more often if you want if you have a lot of corals. For the tube anemone, as long as you're feeding it meaty foods (brine shrimps, mysis etc.) it should be fine.

I am guessing you're referring to the Coco worm? The crown will grow back eventually :) Just keep you water parameter stable and I would also dose a bit of phytoplankton everyday to help speed up the recovery.

I dont have a coral light, can i still take care of them?
@BlueReefTank3 жыл бұрын
If you're referring to the tube anemone, absolutely yes. They are non-photosynthetic and do not require much lighting at all. They only rely on meaty foods like pods, brine shrimp etc to survive. I hope that helps 😄
@lukejsmodels23313 жыл бұрын
@@BlueReefTank I might look to get one then, hopefully they dont find my inverts or fish a snack 😅
@BlueReefTank3 жыл бұрын
@@lukejsmodels2331 Hahaha There are many tube anemones with crazy colors! I hope you'll find a good looking ones. Inverts & fishes will normally avoid them and I heard that their sting is even weaker than Aiptasia 😄 I wouldn't worry unless I've got a sick fish
