Introducing Barker 6

The Barker 6, one of the most advanced and fastest 6-person chairlifts in North America, will take to the slopes for the winter of 2023-24. A Doppelmayr D-Line design, the lift will feature ergonomic heated seats, weather-blocking bubbles in our signature Sunday River Red, and improved wind resistance. This addition to the resort is a pivotal step forward in our Sunday River 2030 plan, and alongside the Jordan 8, forms a transcendent duo of Doppelmayr's flagship lifts.

Great addition. Would have been even more perfect if it was this one first, before the Jordan 8, but it doesn't matter now. The weird thing is these new lifts totally spoil you, and only remind you of how old and slow the other lifts are!

really not enough going on there to do that, not a lot of trails and its not a peak people go to to cross to another

White cap (white heat quad) isnt apart of the current 2030 plan. The next lift upgrades would be either Aurora, South ridge, Tempest (added conveyor-lift upgrade), or the North Peak quad

@@anub3743 I'd vote for Aurora, it's a critical artery connecting the entire resort, has great runs itself but a painfully slow lift.

I would agree with that statement. Aurora really is a critical peak for the resort granting access to Jordan as well as access to white cap. Some of the terrain off of Aurora can be magical on powder days such as Super Nova and Celestial along with access to flying monkey. Which the upcoming aurora lift, I think it would finally bring attraction back to the peak.
