I like the pageless form. But it doesn't look like I can move things around once they're on the page. Am I correct? It seems like I can change the size (sort of). But I cannot lay text over an image or move a small image on top of a larger image. Am I mising something? Actually it seems like I can't move anything at all!

Question - how can I tell what page I am on. It seems to be in continuous form. I prefer to know how how much content fits in a page.

Unfortunately, you can't tell due to the pageless format. You can only see how your content breaks up into pages after exporting as a pdf. I'm sure this is something they'll make changes to.

This is so not fine since each time if you need to export as PDF and if the format is not right you have to correct approximately and since you don't have a preview of the output... not useful for me and you asked the right question..

Although a bit tedious, what I did to get my pages to stop and start where I wanted was by downloading, then opening the downloaded document to see where I needed one page to end and the next to begin was by moving my cursor to where I wanted the page to break and then downloading again. When opened, the page break will be where you want.

You showed the most basic features. What you didn't show me, is when adding my own image into the doc, how to add an image or text on top of the original image. I want my image to be the background on the page. Then I can add either text or other smaller images on top. I see no way of doing this kind of work. Help please!!

You can't really move photos freely with Docs. In your case, I would recommend using a regular Canva design with the 8.5 x 11 dimensions. That option will allow you do add an image in the background. Once you download it will the videos and links pop up like in canva? Are you able to change the background?

I don't think you can change the background at the moment. The videos and links do not pop up in pdf exports.

I might make a video about this specific question....the directions are below: From your Canva doc, select the Plus icon next to your text cursor. Alternatively, you may key in “/Page break”. Search and select Page break. Your document will be split into pages. Add more page breaks as necessary. www.canva.com/help/about-canva-docs/

When I download to a PDF the formatting is incorrect for printing. I would appreciate help with sizing/formatting so that when my document is created I am able to print as I see it. Thank you.

Click the button that says “Magic Resize”. You can make your document any size needed to print
