I just got one of these...I think. I ordered a Carry-On recorder, and got the exact same device pictured here (and in Sarah Jeffery's review which convinced me to buy it), except the box is completely different, from "Midiplus", and the control buttons are labeled in Chinese. It did come with a fingering chart/instruction sheet in English, but I did not expect to receive this device in a different box. Now time to learn to play it. It's not very different from my Roland AE-01 Aerophone MIDI wind controller. UPDATE: First discovery. It can be played _while charging!_ That makes it far more versatile. You can connect it to a battery bank and it will keep the charge up while you play. I have a very tiny 10,000 mAh power bank I could put in my pocket with the cable running up to the instrument. That should extend the play time to WELL above 3 hours. Excellent!

@@LianBInsigne it truly is a wonderful instrument, especially for it's price point. In my experience, young beginner musicians can have various problems, from music reading being difficult and never completely explained until way later in their learning, to the simple issue of not wanting to practice because others might hear their mistakes. The electronic instruments becoming available right now can be combined with music theory tools to teach young musicians what key signatures really mean, what modes are, what the circle of fifths is and why it's important, and to give them a way to practice silently so they won't feel embarrassed by their errors at the critical moment as they're taking their first steps into music. Later, they'll develop the confidence to play out, and they'll have the resiliency to keep going even if someone winces at a clunker or a clam. The headphone jack alone is the greatest thing in music since Oog the caveman discovered the drum when he beat on a hollow log. What I wish was more developed for this instrument is the MIDI capability. I've been trying for three days now to get it to talk to a common DAW, either for Android or Windows 10. I just want to play notes and have sounds come out of the DAW as part of a track. The instructions are not even sketchy, they're unusable to make anything except GarageBand on an Apple device work. Well, not all of us succumbed to the Reality Distortion Field generated by Apple. We own Android and Windows devices. We need better instructions, if the instrument well support our platforms at all -- or better hardware support if it's only designed for a fruit machine. This is a real issue with musical electronics. Apple became popular with musicians, so manufacturers forget the 70-80% of the market share that doesn't use Apple. If you can help get a bit more support for the Windows/Android users, even just some instructions for using the device with a DAW, that would be real helpful.

Ok - highly interesting! I’m waiting on delivery of one of the larger updated versions they’ve recently started making. I tried an EWI5000 last year and it was just too large and heavy - the latest version of this should be really good - especially controlling a MIDI synth!

Yong fingering niya sir is for soprano recorder. Yong sound lang ang nag iiba. I recommend both, sorry I can't choose between the two. Yong Carry-on po is may built-in speaker kaya mas madalas ko gamitin ngayon kasi mas mabilis ang pag record ko, the re.corder needs to connect pa sa APP and soundcard. Kaya ko lang di nagamit kasi wala akong mixers and computer, Pareho sila maganda po.
