If you're into tech poi, contact poi, or poi juggling, you’ve probably heard of VPC - a rope that many serious poi spinners consider the absolute best leash for poi because:
• the braided polyester sheath has the perfect balance of slip + friction for tosses
• it’s stiff enough to be stable and easy to grab, but flexible enough for tangles
• it’s incredibly durable, has basically zero stretch, and combines properties of dynamic and static ropes
However the vectran core doesn’t melt, so it’s a pain to make and adjust your leash. You can't just cut and melt it. VPC requires epoxy for a good finish, which is messy and difficult to work with. While the low-stretch of vectran is important when attached to a sailboat, your poi aren’t going to come close to stretching a rope this thick.
Enter FPC - flowtoys' custom made solution. Feels and handles like VPC, made by the same manufacturer, but with a polyester core, so you can simply cut and melt the ends to finish.

How many mm thick is FPC or are there options ? I currently use 10mm VPC.

will the flowmoya contact poi + capsule handles be in the store before black friday? also.. where did the capsule poi go :O

We'll have flowmojas on the site for the Black Friday weekend, but have very limited stocks and expect to run out. We'll have capsule handles - less limited than flowmojas - we don't have them as a set yet. You'll have to order them separately. Capsule poi were discontinued many years ago!

Would you be able to use this fpc to connect two vision sticks together? I have a setup with 4 vision sticks and j-lace connecting them but the j-lace isn’t ideal in my opinion. Something thicker would be better but not sure if this fpc cord can fit through the vision stick eyelets. Thx for any response

At 10mm FPC is too thick, but 6mm smithy cord works and the weight distribution will be better than FPC for vision sticks. There's no space for a knot, so you'll need an o-ring to secure the cord.
