As a video editor this worried me until I realized that there’s no way this promo video itself was made with AI, so clearly Google doesn’t believe in this product enough to let it speak for itself. Also the fact that the average Google app lasts 2-3 years before they give up on it entirely

I work as a motion and mutlimedia designer. These videos are crafted with care multiple storyboards and probably by a team with feedback going back and forth. This video or explanation videos in general have real passion and work into them that AI can only mimic only a fraction. It will be able to produce something very basic in 5-10 years but I highly doubt it will achieve greatness in storytelling, design, sound effects and motion.

​​​@@innerDialecticBecause Apple and Samsung do this all the time. Apple uses Final Cut for their videos, Samsung partners with Adobe, Apple uses Keynote for their WWDC presentations, and so on. Samsung and Apple can fully run their companies on just their own hardware/software or those of their partners. Google couldn't, so they are disingenuous as a company. You couldn't edit this video on a ChromeOS machine, they don't use Google Slides for their I/O presentations, and most of their developers have macOS computers. They are a corporation that doesn't use the very products they sell.

youtube music is good, its synced with youtube and it has a lot of songs, any song is just there, there's more than on spotify and its less buggy. The only issue is that you need to pay in order to be able to really use it. Imo if you dont wanna pay use spotify if you're willing to pay YT music which comes when you buy youtube premium so you also get a few other things here
