Introducing Hart Crane's "To Booklyn Bridge"

Crane's "To Brooklyn Bridge" is the dedication at the front of his booklength panorama, "The Bridge." The poem offers a Platonist's picture of heaven, in the form of the mathematically perfect suspension bridge.

NB. The father and brother both died during the building of the bridge but the wife of the father learnt engineering and maths and she finished the bridge, and did well.
