you are really selling me on those white edge highlighting. i use a gundam marker to achieve that comic book effect for crevises and angles, but then use bright versions of base colors for the edge highlighting. your method, i think, is superior, ill have to try that on my next army.

Thank you 😁👍 For a real comic effect you can try how it looks to only paint a single corner of each shape with some of the adjacent border white. I'm not sure, but its easy to complete if you don't like it and it might be a cool effect going more into that direction. 🤗

Man that army looks really great, and has a pretty versatile combo of mechs! The overall bright green looks amazing with the highlights and spots of yellow. Speaking of that last colour, indeed it is a difficult one. I used for it a lot of brands like your vallejo and others (citadel, army painter etc...), nonetheless the one that needed less quantity of coats was a brand I came across recently (green stuff world), which packs good opacity to it (and other colours as well). Anyway, really cool video, looking forward for more! cheers 🤘

Thank you! 😁👍 I have not tried the green stuff world colours. However, in our friendly local game store they have a set of new colours from Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy. It's called two thin coats. The yellow flame colour is really nice and among yellows one of the best coating ones I have used. Sadly I found it after painting this army, it would certainly have made life easier 😂. We wanted to make something slower that brings out the handcrafted nature of the hobby a bit more. Loc is already preparing to introduce an army of hers, so there will definitely be more of this 😁😁.
