Can you use this as a seam sealer in classic car restoration? The 2 part seam sealer sets up too fast

Have used the 8115 product on some patch panels with great success. Working on the replacement of a Corvair fender where the fender cannot be replaced by a novice. The intent is to replace about 50% of the fender with a inserted piece scavenged from parts car. Question: The flange area of adhesive contact will only be about 1/2 inch, intent is to glue the horizontal seams and MIG the vertical seams. Is 1/2 inch contact adhesive area sufficient?

Can this be used to repair the welded joints of, or even build, a bicycle frame? If not, do you offer anything that is capable of replacing a welded seam in that scenario?
