Is the size back to normal as well? I bought a gaynor a couple months ago and had a terrible experience - not only it is super hard but much smaller than usual. And I used the recommended size.... a HUGE waste of (a lot of) money

I truly hope these are more akin or even truly US made: much more fitting like/back to US fit/production. I cannot imagine this change in manufacturers resulted in any significant or long term profits for Gaynor Minden…& I’m just one of amongst an overwhelming majority of GM wearers, that, due to such drastic changes (that to me & others negatively impacted the shoes so much so we were forced to find other brands of shoes as our new shoe.) 😣Students all the way to Professionals & balletic stars also switched brands completely after the US made Gaynors production was halted & (sold?) to the new Bosnia & Herzegovina (European) manufacturers: If the US production was returned: I would gladly switch back to GM, & thus, my old shoes, which I adored & depended on. Such a tragic situation for all & personally- to see the shoes I wore, endorsed & treasured l, depended on for years, change into an unrecognizable impossible to “make work” version of what once was. If it “ain’t broke don’t fix it” sorta thing (pre-European manufacturers acquisition.) 🙏

Hi! Thank you for your comment. If you already know your GM size, you can order the exact same size in Lyra! Most dancers will be able to continue wearing their current Europa size in Lyra. If you’re new to GM or need a refit, visit your local retailer or our NYC boutique for the best experience. We also offer virtual fittings.

hi there! next month i am going to have a fitting and i hope i'll get gaynor mindens because they look amazing! one question though: my feet are "square" and wide, i have a really low arch but strong feet. are they suitable for this kind of feet? thanks! :)

We have over 8,000 fitting combinations that are suitable for various foot types, in addition to, five shank stiffnesses to accommodate foot strengths.
