Great stuff ... and yes, as you saw in the chat, Su-metal wrote the lyrics - she liked the sound of the song so much when she heard the demo (it reminded her of 'Road of Resistance' which is another of her favourite songs) that she said she wanted to write this one.

Hey John, if you like their higher vocals, you should really check out their song From Dusk Till Dawn. Pretty sure you'll like that song. She hits really high notes in that one. Quite an amazing song!

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed this very performance at the venue on Day-2 (April 2) when the newly born BABYMETAL with Momometal began with full joy 😍. The band in the girls' back was Western Kamis and I appreciate their devoted support that has made this and recent shows amazing😍. Thank you Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint. (And Ryan in US tour and several shows in Japan) You guys are unsung heroes whom everybody loves. Su-Metal explained in an interview the reason why she chose a phrase "(Time to) go your way" in stead of "go our way" whereas this song is a kind of call to build up courage of BABYMETAL themselves and their followers. She said like "It may be better with 'our', but I though it is adamant or pushy to fans who have various tastes in music. They do not need to accept everything about BABYMETAL. I hope they follow us at their own discretion. In addition, I was seeking some words thinking of people who might be encouraged to brace themselves up or to explore their own ways with the help of powers given by my lyrics. Certainly the connotation of this song implies 'let's go together' but I hold a individual fan in high esteem. [source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 38] What a thoughtful person our Queen is !

T stance Su is best Su I was so hoping they would do this on BABYKLOK but I cant be that upset, we got great cuts either way (rotated Mirror, Maya, and Believing). The Other One might be their strongest album to date both lyrically and musically. The old stuff, while great, leaned very heavily on the contrast. TOO, like you said, embraces Su's voice.

I'm so glad BABYMETAL released the live performance of this song because I think that lots of people forgot about this song since it was the first song released off the new album almost 1 year ago. I remember when this song was released, it took a lot of people by surprise since it was EXTREMELY different from anything that they had done before, but by the time the album went on sale many months later, everyone got use to the idea of darker less kawaii songs. Divine Attack is still one of my favorites off this album.🤘🦊🤘

I wish they would have performed Devine Attack on tour!! I mean Metal Kind of make up for it but still. Similar thing happened with BxMxC. It was never on the international release which was a head stratcher. One of the best tracks on Metal Galaxy yet only released in Japan. They made up for it later. Adding BxMxC to the lineup for their Dethklok tour. What I hope will happen now is that Oli Sykes & Babymetal can perform Kingslayer at Sick New World Festival in Vegas next year. Given both will be there and Oli himself said he will never perform it again unless Babymetal is present. So perfect opportunity here I think. Hopefully they also perform Devine Attack-Shingeki this time.🤘🦊🔥

⚡ 💕 🍑 / 🐎💥 The Black Night and Clear Night concerts were special events. Momoko Okazaki was announced as a full member at the end of Black Night, officially becoming "Momometal". Clear Night was her first BABYMETAL concert with a microphone (like Moametal). The vast majority of fans were thrilled for her. She really deserved it.

Which i will be present at myself. Got some resell tickets which i spent a fortune on lol. Where Bring Me The Horizon will also be there. Which means a good chance we get Kingslayer again. Given Oli said he will never perform Kingslayer live again unless ladies are there with him lol. That is what you call making an impact!! Great reaction from your friend. I knew there was versatility in their sound, but a touch of drum and bass? Wow. The two-step beat in the chorus is straight-up dancefloor dnb, and the Amen break in the verses is what you get in Eyeless by Slipknot. They need to be introduced to Zardonic. He is a Venezuelan DJ who blends metal and dnb. Exquisite choice. Keep up the great work.

I think Divine Attack is a hidden gem of the album and I really don’t know why, since it such a good song. Not my top favourite but defo in my top 5. You defo need to check out “From Dusk Till Dawn” live at Budokan 2021! 🤘🦊🔥

The Japanese songwriters like to insert subtle variations in their B-verses and B/C-choruses compared to the original A-verse/chorus. It makes all the difference, like that last variation in the chorus at the end. Like for this song, there is no B-verse, they go directly to the B-pre-chorus after a short instrumental. Also, I'm always amazed at how they combine the 3 distinct melodies (verse, pre-chorus and chorus) into one song. In the past 20 years, western music has monetized this into 3 mediocre repetitive songs instead of one solid song. They actually used the solid A-verse just once. Madness!

Well I do agree that the vocals at this point seem to be more perfect than ever. The whole album is almost 100% perfect from Su, but as to the songs themselves, currently I put TOO second behind Metal Resistance. @@JohnReavesLive
