In always in awe with guys like him. There usually humble, and come off as passive. But knowing they can wipe the floor with you in the blink of an eye is amazing!

Professor Robinson is literally one of the kindest and gentlest men I know. Not an ounce of ego in him, but when we spar he's a BEAST.

@@ASPextra -- I'm sure he is!.. Btw John, I sent you an email to your asp email perhaps a couple weeks ago. My name is Keith and my KZbin user name is the same as this one. It's a touchy subject I wrote you about but I was wondering if you looked at and have come up with a verdict?

I don't think it came through Keith. Can you send it again please?

Active Self Protection Extra that’s what we strive to be; gentle until it is time not to be.

I appreciate the humility in your belt. I can tell you it is offensive when people of one martial art where a black belt into a class, they have never even studied. I am a second degree black belt in Taekwondo and a first black belt in Krav Maga.

Great points. I like the perspective on belts and the idea of growth. That is what I like about martial arts; the desire for growth.

Amen! Me too.

Lots of good fighters back in the day....we come from the history of Bob "Thunder" Thurman, Steve Mackey, Mark Payne, and Jeff Robinson. I recognize all those kickboxers names your instructor mentioned. Your marital arts training should be a lifetime of learning, getting a black belt is just a beginning. Thanks for the video

I was instantly suspicious of this guy because of the uniform and number of belt stripes, but 25-10 is a very good record for full contact Plus those old school karate/kickboxing days were legit, ufc guys are still using the lessons learnt from back then

He's absolutely the real deal.
