Introducing my Razor Back Turtles into their Texas Native Vivarium!

Hey, I hope y'all are having a great week. I have been waiting for this moment, and beyond excited to share this stage of our series with you guys! In this video, we finally get to introduce our Musk Turtles into their new habit!
I love this Texas Biosphere and really think these guys are going to thrive in this established environment. I can't wait to observe these guys while they explore their surroundings, climb the rocks and interact with the fish. They are already so much fun to watch and they have adapted rather quickly. Come check out these amazing fellas for yourself here at our store location. They are currently one of my favorite critters we have along with the rest of our staffs! Definitely worth seeing in person if you have the opportunity!

They are so small..how cute! I have a testudo Hermanni named stoffeltje .he will be 17years old on the 6th of August 2023.he sleeps during fall/winter time.from end oct until end of March and when its getting warmer he will be outside in his summer habitat .

first and I loooooove musk turtles, they're so cute. I eventually want a very large paludarium with some musk turtles, and a Chinese Crocodile lizard. Though I'm sure if anyone sees this and knows it's a bad idea I'll be told below.

Should turtle enclosures have gravel? I have an 11y/o razorback and people have been saying that gravel may be eaten which is dangerous, but you have gravel?

Nice setup. I definitely will be setting up a musk turtle tank/native tank. I've been trying to figure out if I want to build a riffle aquarium for darters, or a low flow stream or river aquarium for musks and other native fish.
