Introducing NZ Space Scholarship recipient Narottam Royal

Narottam Royal is one of six 2024 New Zealand Space Scholarship recipients. This programme, administered by the New Zealand Space Agency within MBIE, will see Narottam intern at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is completing a PhD at the University of Canterbury looking at techniques for remotely tracking the orientation of spacecraft. During his internship Narottam will work with data from NASA’s Deep Space Network, the largest and most sensitive telecommunications system in the world.
