It surely is an interesting project and to me a long ways out to be able to make configuration changes on the fly without needed to lug a laptop around. For instance, changing camera settings for different lighting conditions, or changing broadcast frequency when flying with other people.

A total coincidence: apon 10 years away from drones / quadcopter, I just fall into it again after unboxing my old turnigy 9x from an old cardboard (old memories ^^') while I was trying to catch up all the things I missed in the last 10 years ... I just found openipc and your videos via Joshua Bardwell video (and mad tech) ... ^^' As a System & Network engineer, the runcam on banggood in front of me is like a Christmas gift in front of the sparkling eyes of a child ... I'll have to fight really strong in order to wait ... :D

Where did you get that version of OpenIPC configurator? The one on Github doesn't have all the same features. The one in your video seems to be a newer version.

Давно пора встроить android в пульт управления. Что бы с него настраивать edgetx, elrs, полётники и выводить картинку с openipc. Сейчас даже недорогие телефону могут 120Гц картинку выводить.

the profit margins on those Vrx modules must be massive , cant believe they just slapped on bigrookies network cards , thats quite funny . Just 2 questions from me , do you think there will ever be a point in time where the openIPC guys and bigrookie could get back to a working relationship or is that a bridge that is permanently broken ? and second do you think you could make a video on how to switch out the bin files for the camera sensor ? i know its possible to do on the configurator and i downloaded one of tipoman's bin files but i just cant figure out how to send the file to the openIPC camera , the camera stock settings on the emax air units are pretty attrocious (atleast from what i can see from other video's ) and my camera is super harsh on the white balance so i would deeply appreciate it if a video was made on it . thankyou for all your hard work , keep it coming PS. any word on the radxa hat ?

This is an Alpha release and of course they are planning to improve their products. I am very excited that such a large manufacturer is developing hardware for OpenIPC. I am confident that we will see amazing things from EMAX. I am planning to help them with any information they may need. Thank you for your support!😊🙏

i always had the feeling that the fan blows much more airflow when is not touching the heatsink. Feels like zero gap space kind like it blocks airflow from being generated well

It’s a Chinese guy who creates WiFi hardware without asking for our advice and he tries to promote his creations with lies such as 2Watts TX power etc. avoid his hardware, I had bad experience in the past.

@@dfgaJK yes bigrookie has also created an air unit that is openIPC capable although since they did not collaborate with the openIPC Dev's the bigrookie air unit is not officially supported by the openIPC Dev's , the air unit does work but openIPC devs are under no obligation to help with troubleshooting / helping users of the R1 bigrookie unit
