Nice things. Seems everyone's crash bars mount at the same places. Only slight difference is the front cross bar as some connect in the middle to each other and some do not. Same for skid plates.

I have the OEM center stand, and I can tell it definitely won’t be compatible. I’m super pleased with the design of the skid plate, but since I’ve already installed the center stand, I’ll wait until you have a skid plate that’s compatible

It’s not compatible. We received our OEM centre stand a couple of weeks. The next batch probably from December/January will be compatible with the OEM stand

i think you have to cut maybe 3cm to the bottom.and paint it a little with a spray.not big deal.but,for sure its mistake from the company

Don't you think that an ~ 1" gap between an oil pan and a skid plate is too much? I think ~ 1/2" should be enough and it will save the ground clearance.

That’s about 1” between the skid plate and the drain plug, however the catalytic converter is about 1/2” further below.

Your crash bars seem to sit low across the bike than the other brands. Others seem to sit just under the Honda logo yours are lower by a fair bit and still will do the job. Great bar that doesnt detract from a handsome bike as some others do. 👍

The OEM skid plate is made from 2.5mm aluminum sheet, while yours is made from 4mm. Although the latter is obviously stronger, the former is noticable lighter. Why have you chosen the 4mm thickness, is the 2.5mm not enough?

A thinner skid plate with less coverage might be okay for gravel road type rides. Anything past that brings more risk. 4mm thick aluminum skid plates are fairly common. Although they add some weight, but it’s not noticeable being located on the bike as low as possible

You have to have our crash bars in order to mount the skid plate. No plans to sell skid plates alone for the Transalp 750

Do you have to take off the skid plate to take off the oil filter when you change the engine oil and filter?

Yes, absolutely. It takes 2-3 minutes to remove the skid plate and it’s a cleaner oil change as well.

There is no distinct engine guard. Have you decided that it has no sense?

It lacks mounting points. We don’t want to bolt anything on the engine block. Our skid plate offers some coverage for the stator cover though

I really want to like this bike but no tubeless wheels is putting me off - even the new RE Himalayan will come with tubeless and having had a puncture in a tubed wheel it’s a real ball ache
