I know you are planning to end this series after Surah Al-Qamar, but like the other comment said: *This series should not stop!* This is series is an incredible idea and it’s extremely beneficial. It really shows how the Quran is unlocked when we engage in reflection. The rhetoric, flow, and argumentation in the Quran is beautiful. If we could do another Surah - I would suggest Surat Jathiya, another medium length Surah that touches on several atheistic mindsets.

Tafseer (exegesis) and Tadabur (pondering) are not the same thing. Tafsir is an explanation of the Quran. Taddabur is just when you explain what the Quran makes you think. But yeeee - we love this series!

Lovely lecture for english speakers, enjoyed the Q&A session, one of the sisters asked a great question, why did an All Powerful God create us why does He need our worship. MH answer was spot on, I would like to add that for us humans to get some knowledge of Allah we look at His names and attributes as MH points out. For what is the point of Allah being Forgiving and Merciful if there are no fallible sinful creatures to forgive. Allah Responds He Hears He Knows and we are the mirror image of those names / attributes of Allah, for we are the ones who have been created in need, as weak and limited. By understanding this it helps us to navigate through this treacherous and painful world which has been designed to push us to our limits, and if we can navigate the hurdles in this world and stay true to Allah no matter what, then His promise is the ultimate expression of His Mercy which is spending an eternity with an Infinite God in the hereafter, where He provides for our every wish, where there is no pain and suffering or never ending tests, where closeness to Allah is natural as is breathing for us here ( jannah ), I believe this is His ultimate goal for us and His ultimate Mercy towards us. But should we knowing all this turn away from Him and reject Him mainly because of our arrogance or our unwillingness to restrain/discipline our desires and wants, then Allah too has every right to reject us and for a sentient being like us its an awful prospect full of suffering ( jahannah ) because we depend on Him and need Him we are limited He is beyond limitations

There's a mistake at 7th & 8th ayah.
