Correct me if I'm wrong - aren't these add-on lenses technically conversion lenses? If so, what are their conversion rations (for example, something like 0.78x for wide and 1.5x for tele)? The lengths provided for each Moment lens is really only valid when applied to the wide lens, ie. 24mm (native wide, iPhone) * x (Moment lens conversion ratio) = 58mm (native wide + Moment tele, combined system focal length). Now, for tele this gives us a conversion ration of 2.4. That'd mean that if you put Moment tele "58mm" on the iPhone's native tele you get actual focal length of 77*2.4=184.8mm, and so on and so forth. Am I mistaken?

Hey guys, at 3:54 I can see the collision of the lens and magsafe holder. Doesn´t look very good. Looks like the lens is not parallel with the phone because of the magsafe holder. Not very pleasant for the lens and lens mount. I wanted to preorder a case for my 15 Pro with the new Tele (my favourite of M-Series), but now I am not very sure :(

@moment quick question. Am I right in thinking with the iphone15 pro max. I can install the 58mm over the 1x camera. Then when I turn on RAW Max I can essentially maintain the 48mo but at a 58mm focal length. I just hate going down to 12mp anytime I use any lens but the 1x. So if the tele lenses work with the 1x 48mp RAW Max shots then I’m sold haha

yeah, you're right. you can totally use it over the 1x and get the most out of your raw photos.

@@steveclarke94 Hi Steve, I haven’t had the chance to use the Tele or Fisheye lens as of yet in a landscape environment. I have been using the long-range macro lens mostly and it is producing some unbelievable shots. I will report back once I test out the other lenses. What I am interested in is edge to edge clarity.

Unfortunately there isn't enuff sales for the Xperia 1 V to make it worthwhile to make a custom case, maybe with enuff interest they'll make a 3d printed mount for it but that's about it

@@FlubFlubber that is true unfortunately as of now it does not work. However on the main camera you can use the 1x 24mm, 1.2x 28mm, 1.5x 35mm, & the 2x options just fine. So that 2x on the Tele give you an optical 4x zoom and man that’s a clean looking photo or video.

I really don't know anything about it and I am looking for a good zoom lens for the iPhone 15 pro max. What I want is that I want to be able to zoom a lot further with the video camera, if possible, and with decent quality of course. Where do I use this; at the football, at a concert and at Tomorrowland. The problem is that I always stand very far away to film, I don't like standing in the crowd. That's why I need a good lens (with a suitable case) for this for a maximum of 200 euros. Which is good both during the day and in the dark.

For everyone who's considering purchasing this product. Keep in mind that this product is not meant for autofocus. You will not get good results with autofocus and have to use manual focus. This means you can't use the camera app built into the phone. This is pretty common for modern mobile telelens, but still, why aren't you explaining it in your VIDEO. Why are you hiding these facts from the customer? You don't even mention this on your product page!! I found this out from another reviewer. Why can't I trust you guys for information on YOUR product? Why aren't you telling crucial information to your customers? The saddest thing about this is that this product is probably really good. It's the marketing that ruins it all. Please consider thinking about why I watch your videos, it's because I used to trust your guy's opinions and videos. I'm very disappointed on the current state of your video production and ethics.

the problem I see with these t-series is that it's not good- it is not clear and is very soft or even blurr/bokeh like around the edges/outlines of subjects. This especially very noticeable on the sides. Center generally looks spot on, but that's about it. Not sure what went wrong with these T-series 58mm lens, but I'm skipping out on these...

Shaky footage can be from going handheld but gimbals and the filmmaker cage help a ton!
