I just found the McTavish from the Rough Collection in dark brown distressed leather. They are gorgeous. What is the best shoe care product for them?

LoudCitizen Thank you for your question! Assuming you are inquiring about the brown crackle leather, due to the nature of the finish we only recommend spot cleaning with a lightly damp cloth. You may use leather lotion on the cloth if you wish. Keep in mind the finish will flake off with normal wear and that is intentional. Also because of the “fabric-like” surface of the leather we don’t typically recommend shoe polish or any other polishing routine. If you have other questions please call us at 877-817-7615. Allen Edmonds Oh, yes, I surely will! I am glad I decided to ask you - the answer is not intuitive or obvious, as the leather is so unique. And there are other people onlin interested in learning your answer. I feel much better - I am going to care for them properly, but not be precious with them - but truly enjoy wearing them. Nothing lasts forever, but I’ll enjoy watching them age spectacularly!! Excuse my ignorance, but I am struggling to see what is so ‘new’ about this collection. They look standard Allen Edmonds to me, or maybe Allen Edmonds with a Tricker’s twist. **shrugs**

Rev. James C We offered is collection several years ago and the styles have since been discontinued; we posted this video in 2011. However, we still get customers asking for these casual styles and we do offer other designs that are very casual with a rough look.
