So I still own my first run Farida OT22! Nearly 5 years later and it’s still a sweet box. It really has warmed up and gotten to be an old friend. I baby it just like all my other much more expensive guitars, but to have payed less than $400.00 for this one new, I’ve never been disappointed in the guitar or Elderly.

I continue to enjoy playing my first run OT 22!! I keep it humidified and keep it in the case, in the winter months, but out on a stand the rest of the year. I still feel I got one of the best deals ever on a guitar, when I bought this one back in 2016!

I saw a Farida on the Elderly website today, and within 5 seconds I realized I need one of these. I'm a massive fan of Gibson's LG series, and I've been looking for an affordable clone for a long, long time (because if I'm going to be spending over $800 for something that looks like a Gibson LG, I may as well go out and buy a Gibson LG). So glad to see the OT-22 and 23 are within my price range!

I just bought an OT-23, Great guitar, It plays and sounds awesome. The setup was perfect, I didn't have to touch a thing, which is rare for me.

Yep, you guys have a hit on your hands! I was the first to review the OT22 on AGF. I'm extremely pleased with mine and wouldn't give it up for nothin. The intonation is amazing and the size and playability is so far beyond what I was expecting that my other guitars are starting to think I've forgotten about them. Thanks again for dreaming out loud! Still playing my OT22, it gets more playing time than all my other guitars. I own around 10 acoustic guitars, all of varying sizes but this little jewel keeps hogging all the playing time. The only guitar that takes a licking and keeps on amazing.

Where can I find a new OT-25 or OT-26?
@ElderlyInstruments Жыл бұрын
Hey Angie! Unfortunately, the factory we were working with for those models shut down a couple of years ago, and the line has been discontinued. We do have a handful of the slope-shoulder dreadnought models still in stock, and we do occasionally see one come in used. If you fill out our Want File, we'll contact you if one comes in: www.elderly.com/pages/wantfile

@@ElderlyInstruments Thank you! My brother wishes to buy one of these for me. Could you tell me the difference of the ot-25 and the ot-26?
@ElderlyInstruments Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay in my response, Angie! While both guitars feature the same 00-sized pre-war body shape and X-braced solid Sitka spruce top, choose the OT-25 for a classic mahogany tone, or go for the OT-26 for a distinctive sound with solid Pau Ferro back and sides. -AJ

They talk about Michigan but I believe these are made in China. Maybe I missed it but I think they neglected to mention that.

So what is wrong if it's made in china, everything now a days are made in china.
