We could have shot at closer range or cherry picked some tighter pairs...but then we'd get called out on that. Guess I'll just take that dig as a challenge to improve my groupings before the next video :-)

There is one. it's the Fostech Echo II, but it does have a heavier trigger compared to the Franklin at 5-6 lbs and needs a "full-auto" bolt. Great for a "duty" trigger though

Can we get one-piece and two-piece selectors, too? The current trigger is three pieces, being the rod itself and two thumb pieces attached at the ends, but I find my thumb switch keeps loosening and becoming wobbly. I feel it would be better to have that side of the selector as one connected part rather than being connected with a little screw.

​@@11C1Pproblem with locking it down is getting it back off. I've stripped the Allen hole on both screws. This is with using a heat gun. My solution was to use a Dremel to put a slot for a flathead screwdriver. A one piece safety selector would be nice.

While I don't know what make/model lower receiver you're using, we've found (as another has also said) that a small amount of medium thread locker prevents this issue for the vast majority of our customers. Not uncommon to utilize this for small screws on most other firearms. Doing so also avoids any chance of over-tightening, which can lead to stripping. Give our Customer Service team a call via the number on our website to get a replacement selector shaft and this approach should produce the desired result.

I like the binary trigger on my ar10 but every 100 rounds I would have to retighten the screws on the safety selector. It kinda sucks. With we could get rid of the the Ambi and have one side only with no screws.

Can you PLEASE change the shape of your safety and allow for a 45% Semi and a 90% Binary throw? That safety selector is very hard to flip and very uncomfortable. Look to the Odin Works or Talon type selector. This would be the single biggest upgrade you could make. IMO of course. Love the products.

To make a long story short.....No. The BFS is intentionally designed to only work with a Franklin safety. Plus, not all full auto safeties are the same. I have tried using a couple of different aftermarket safeties in the BFS3 trigger and you can't get the binary option to work. But Franklin Armory could easily spend 30 minutes and design a selector level that is a clone of the Radian Talon to give their own safety selector the exact same look and feel.

I’ve bought two- and got rid of them. The screws will not stay tight on the selector/safety switch. It’s a well known issue- so until I’m told that problem had been resolved, I’m out. Cool to shoot, until shit starts falling apart. It’s a no go, even on the range.

Sorry to hear of your experience. Our AR trigger selector paddles work as designed with the vast majority of lower receivers. Depending on the make/model of your lower receiver, it may not have been within tolerance. For some, a dab of medium thread locker keeps things snug. For others, installing in a different receiver often yields the desired result. We can't control the specs of third-party receiver manufacturers. Unfortunately, they're not all made with the same quality control as Franklin Armory's 100% American made receivers. We know our triggers will work exceptionally well in our receivers...and they're reasonably priced, too!

Yeah, but you can't really buy any FRTs right now though. The legal battle over them isn't over yet since the ATF appealed the decision that FRTs aren't machine guns which means Rare Breed can't start up production or resume sales yet. It'll probably be at least another 3 to 5 years before new FRTs return to the market.

Have one on my DD mk18. Works great to double tap, for home defense scenarios. At 5 yards you can't miss a human sized target with both shots if you're quick.

BFS is much less of a range toy than some of the others. It's great for double taps, and if you need to engage at longer distances, it's a simple flip of the selector. It definitely doesn't make up for a lack of training, but I think you should give it a shot, pun intended.
