This trigger, in a PC chassis carbine, is a very good home defense weapon. I recommend adding an M-CARBO machined extractor and bolt buffer pad plus a heavier main recoil spring from Tandemcross. Now the action is ready for the increased "abuse" of firing it in binary mode. Did it to my PC chassis carbine.

@@rayjones463 I have this "binary" trigger and it works just fine - but then accuracy falls way off. I took it off B/C I need to compete in Steel Challenge and there are NO binary triggers allowed!

Mine kicks ass! My gun was jamming bad and was completely brand new. Was jamming before and after the binary trigger install so I knew for a fact it wasnt the firing mechanism. Got in touch with Ruger, sent it off to them with the binary trigger installed, because it fired right with the trigger, but jammmed due to manufacturer defect. They tested my gun and sent 136 rounds down range with new parts, sent it home to me and the gun fired beautifully! I bet those guys at Ruger had fun on the range with my baby. 😂 Now I know my setup works right, its even been tested by Ruger!! Badass setup. Damn good 🧟‍♂️zombie 🧟‍♂️ killer gun! Finally received mine and installed it yesterday. It was a little difficult for me. Definitely not a drop in trigger. Instructions are not that detailed and photos are pretty bad. No notes or instructions on how to remove the OEM safety. Googled removal of 10/22 safety and it is pretty much the same. The most difficult thing for me was installing the selector switch detent and spring. Lost and found the detent and spring 4 times before I was successful, heh. The other difficult part is installing the trigger return spring and detent. Too bad there are no You Tube videos out yet on the installation of the PC-C1 trigger. Franklin should put up how to videos on their website. I've yet to get to a range and fire it. Hope it works.

@Christopher Hurd Have not shot it yet, but it does pass all the function and safety checks. I was hoping for a lighter trigger pull than OEM, but it is still around the 5½ lbs that the OEM trigger had.

@Christopher Hurd I did take it to the range yesterday. It was flawless. I'm happy with it. Only a couple of cons I can think of. First, to field strip it now, I have to remove both selector levers. Second, if I ever have to return it to Ruger for service, it will be a PITA to reinstall the OEM trigger or risk them replacing the binary trigger and keeping it. Hopefully I will never need to send it in for service.

Wish they had them already fully installed. Drop and go option to purchase. I don’t trust myself working on those tiny springs and such. Especially the selector part instal. Looks like a pain.

hay how did that go did you get screwed to you know cant return it if its been installed and franklin armory will fix it and make it work if you give them enough cash and send it in but beware if they dont like what they see you wont get your trigger group back...and when they want all most 1/2 the price of the trigger assy to make it work like they advertise now your looking at a 450 dollar trigger ....great for them but it sucks to be you............

Curious how it compares in single shot mode. Pull weight, pre-post travel, audible break, crispness and so on. How it compares in single shot with stock Ruger, Tandemkross, MCARBO, Volquartsen (upgrade kits or drop in units) and so on.

@@johncox2865 Great. I just popped for a Volquartsen drop in unit. It was discounted because VQ is no longer selling in-box PCC drop in trigger packs. I hear the Victory Trigger is a good bargain. Also, TK Victory Triggers don't interfere with Upriser chassis. I have TK 2-port comp. Light. Easy to clock.

It took me several hours. Probably a total of 3- 3½ hours. The safety selector and trigger spring detent and springs are especially difficult if you don't have 3 hands. Figuring out how to remove the OEM safety was an adventure.
