Introducing the ScanSnap iX1300

I've got the old model, the S1300i. Big drawback was that it claimed to run on usb, which was partly wrong as it needed a second usb "power" cable, occupying 2 usb ports ( or simply does not work mobile when your laptop doesn not have 2 free ports.) Has this issue been fixed?
