I still have my WEJ and it still works great! The Bluetooth function is more than worth it for me! I’d love to know about any advancements in development for software or firmware. I don’t know if I you guys are still in business…but I just wanted to let you know the WEJ is dope and it’s stands the test of time!

Unbelievable. Tabletop was one of the first apps I got and for some reason it got left behind. I bought loads of other apps since that which I’ve never got along with and I put Tabletop back on my iPad last week. Well well well.....it has all the features I’ve been looking for all this time (we are talking nearly 5 years ffs).....and now this WEJ LOOKS INCREDIBLE!!!!!

How far can you move the ipad away from the unit? Does it have to be laying on top? (if i have the device and midi stuff on my desk and then bring the ipad to bed, can i still control them?)

It doesn't have to be laying on top certainly. Bluetooth is typically 30 feet or so

Wej doesn't handle audio. It does open up your options by freeing the lightning port. You can use headphone jack, lightning port, or airplay...

Desalisme Wej is USB Midi control only. No Audio. However, it frees up your iPad's lightning port to connect USB audio devices at the same time as USB midi controllers.

Hi JP - I'm seeing an app called Glitchboard at 2:44 in the vid, but I can't find that in the App Store. PLEASE explain why that is, what it does, and how I can get it. Also, how is that MiniLab working out for ya? The ribbon pitch and mod controllers are not ideal for me (I prefer something more tactile).

Apple can make Bluetooth midi, yet I cannot make music using Bluetooth headphones because of lag.

thats because midi signals are so small vs audio that needs a bigger bandwidth.

I want one of these... but not this. I want something thinner to fit in my laptop bag. Man if you made something like this 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick... shut up and take my money. I don't care about the lights or the angled surface. I want it in my bag with my mpc element and my ipad. That adapter is annoying.
