First time hearing an argument like yours about Israil and Jacob. I knew that the two children of Adam who had part to the that particular "interaction" in human history were Cain and Abel. I'd like to know more. Can you direct me into some reading or video about it? Edit: I made a research and noticed that , in the Quran, the two children of Adam are not mentioned by name actually. Interesting.

Maybe im not fully understanding your question…however the Quran does mention the story of Adam pbuh and his sons. In the Quran, Cain is named Qabil and Abel is named Habil. The channel i linked below has great series on the prophets. I linked the one of Qabil & Habil.

When you mentioned the gifts of Allah(ﷻ) and paradise, I remembered a very powerful quote from Sheikh Al Sha'rawy when he said about worshiping Allah: لا تعبدوه ليعطي بل اعبدوه ليرضى فإذا رضي أدهشكم بعطائه Don't worship Allah in order to give you , rather worship him to be pleased with you because if he pleased with you he will astonishing you with his giving. And the ayah you mentioned about prophet Jacob(pbuh) Allah said: أم كنتم شهداء إذ حضر يعقوب الموت إذ قال لبنيه ما تعبدون من بعدي قالوا نعبد إلهك و إله آبائك إبراهيم و إسماعيل و إسحاق إلهاً واحداً و نحن له مسلمون. May Allah(ﷻ) accept from you and all of us. Ameen.
