Introduction of Wendy F. Hensel, 16th President of the University of Hawaiʻi

The University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents (BOR) voted to appoint Wendy Hensel as the next president of the UH 10-campus system, the state’s sole provider of public higher education. The 11 regents voted unanimously for Hensel at the October 17, 2024 continuation of the October 16 Special BOR Meeting at UH Mānoa. The appointment is effective January 2025.
