Amazing work. It is such a joy to write from a place between positivism and expression. Yay! Fantastic lecture.

Very informative, thank you. I am starting my Masters this year and we have been told that we will be writing an AE essay so I am just here gathering as much info about it as I can before classes begin and this was a great help Thank you

I am studying at Masters level in spite of mid to severe dyslexia. I have to write about suicide and assisted death through this method of essay to do it justice. Your work has been inspiring and immensely useful. Thank you so much.

I found this video moving. I'm working on my MA thesis proposal (a reflexive autoethnography about mental health). None of the faculty in my department know anything about AE. This journey I'm on... has been really challenging. Your video helped shed light. Mahalo!

I so hope it works out well. Reach out if you need any resources. Many of my students explore mental health topics throughout this unit of my courses.

Thank you so much; this is very informative. I am writing a positionality essay as a Doctorate student and was unfamiliar with this research method. This video has just opened an amazing journey for me to do and think about my research process.

Thank you for this! I'm a Norther AZ University student in an online class and was feeling very lost about the expectations for an Authoethnography assigned as part of my final.

Hello! thank you for this video, it truly shed light on the autoethnography and the process that it is. Could you also share the bibliography? Thank you

Dr. Pollock, how do I cite auto ethnographies when I write?
@hilarypearson39363 жыл бұрын
This is incredible. I will be writing my thesis using auto ethnography. I would love to connect with you if possible. Is there potential if obtaining these slides? Do you have any additional references if resources that you can share? I appreciate any feedback. Thank you so much for this lecture.

Autoethnography - as opposed to Auto Ethnography! Hope you are getting on well with the process! My PhD is an Autoethnography too :)

Isn't "Self-Reflexivity" a tautology! Rexlexivity within research relates to "self" anyway - doesnt it? The researchers own beliefs, practices and judgements... In grammar, itself, and within the etymology; reflexive prounouns relate to himself, herself, themselves, myself, ourselves - and so on. Seems a little like suggesting a "self-assessment" on yourself lol. Great video - thankyou!
