Thanks a lot. Excellent explanation. Maybe you know which program is better for designing electrical circuits? AutoCAD Electrical or E-Plan, specifically in North America
@plcgoodsАй бұрын
Both AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Electric P8 are excellent programs for designing electrical circuits, but their suitability depends on your specific needs and industry. Here's a comparison tailored to North America:
@plcgoodsАй бұрын
1. AutoCAD Electrical Best For: General electrical design, especially in industries where AutoCAD is already a standard. Key Features: Part of the widely-used AutoCAD ecosystem, making it easier to integrate with other Autodesk products. Extensive library of electrical symbols compliant with ANSI and IEC standards. Strong compatibility with DWG file formats. User-friendly interface for those familiar with AutoCAD. Advantages: Easier to learn if you have prior AutoCAD experience. Excellent for projects requiring collaboration with teams using other AutoCAD tools. Better for projects that mix electrical schematics with mechanical designs (e.g., plant layouts). Disadvantages: Limited automation compared to EPLAN. Requires more manual effort for complex projects, like large-scale panel wiring. 2. EPLAN Electric P8 Best For: Automation and electrical design projects, particularly in industries like manufacturing, automotive, and energy. Key Features: Powerful tools for creating detailed schematics and wiring diagrams with high automation capabilities. Supports multi-user collaboration and project management. Excellent for generating reports like BOMs, terminal diagrams, and wiring lists. Robust compliance with North American standards (e.g., UL and CSA) and European standards. Advantages: Superior automation features save time on repetitive tasks (e.g., automatically generating wire numbering). Better for projects requiring extensive documentation and cross-references. Strong focus on modular design and system integration. Disadvantages: Higher learning curve, especially for AutoCAD users. Typically more expensive than AutoCAD Electrical.

I want to learn to draw electrical diagrams, and I would like your advice on which is better, learning drawing on the eplan program or Automation studio
@plcgoods Жыл бұрын
If you're mainly interested in electrical diagrams and design: EPLAN might be the better choice due to its specific focus on electrical engineering tasks. If you're interested in broader automation systems and simulations: Automation Studio might be more suitable, especially if you're working in industries where control systems are a significant focus.✌✌

How give gate pulse to thyristor
@plcgoods2 ай бұрын
To give a gate pulse to a thyristor, you apply a small trigger pulse to the thyristor's gate terminal: 1. Connect the power circuit Connect the power circuit to the load across the thyristor's anode and cathode. 2. Apply the trigger pulse Apply a small gate pulse to the thyristor's gate terminal. The pulse only needs to last a few microseconds to turn the thyristor on. 3. Current flows The thyristor will turn on and current will flow from the anode to the cathode. 4. Remove the gate signal The thyristor will remain on until the gate signal is removed and the voltage through it reaches zero. 💚💚

Hello sir, Can I ask? Why my PLC card doesn't have "Technical and Description". I look forward to your feedback. Thanks.
@plcgoods Жыл бұрын
Hi there, I don't know why your PLC card doesn't have "Technical and Description". Maybe you insert it from a wrong category ( sometimes an element can be added from different categories which each category supports a different standard or property). Please pay attention to video and see that I insert my PLC card from which category.

Hello sir, I really appreciate this video, thanks for it...But I have a question. it´s possible to use two PLC cards at the same time ? and also to connect simultaneously two bars ? it´s because I need to make a simulation with more sequences with actuators, so I need more inputs and outputs to do it.
@softgoods6863 жыл бұрын
Hi dear, thanks for watching our videos. Almost all PLC types support some extension cords. So, it's easy to increase the number of your inputs and outputs. Also, you can use external cards inside the automation studio software.

You will learn a lot just by watching them let alone doing some exercises on your own
