Introduction to Canadian Administrative Law (Chapter 1)

This stuff is gold, man. To anyone reading this: when an individual finds themselves in a courtroom, 95% of the time it is administrative law being applied. Meaning, learning how to navigate administrative law will be of aid 95% of the time when an individual is in a courtroom. Thank you Phil for taking the time to create this material and share it with others. Studying law has been a hobby, so to speak, for at least 8 years. It is very difficult to find good material on Canadian Law. I find this playlist to be a substitute, for lack of a better word, for the failings of Canada's contractual obligations to the ICESCR Article 13; in short, teach the people the fundamental principles of law; give them the ability to defend themselves in a court of law if every wrongfully accused. This alone would resove the problem of people accidently wandering down the paths of freeman on the land, sovereign citizen, OPCA litigant, etc. I find those paths to be the symptoms of the failings of Canada to its contractual obligations. My only criticism would be the low volume of the video. It is hard to hear and I have to turn up the volume, then get blasted by ads that at max volume, turn down the volume, repeat. If this could be corrected, it would be awesome man. Either way, it's still 5 stars for me.

This has been so helpful in illuminating much that affects me but that I knew so little about. Thanks Professor Lord. With little to no experience in administrative law, this first lecture offers accessible content explained well with examples and additional resources to explore.

Well Done! I found this introductory lecture into the Canadian Administrative Law series to be very useful in understanding the basic principles of Admin law. You've raised some important points and I appreciate the direct and concise nature of your presentation. Moving forward, I think viewers would benefit from a brief learning outline at the start of the lecture. Furthermore, providing a summary of the important issues at the end of the video would also be beneficial to viewers. I also recommend making use of the KZbin chapter's option to highlight the critical areas of your presentation. Overall, I found this introduction to be very informative. Thanks Phil :)
