I grew up playing football on my parents side yard. It was probobly Kentucky bluegrass but there were a few giant patches of fine fescue. Everytime the grass was wet, we would slip on those spots. Slippery when wet 😅.

it is always wise to know your grass type(ask a neighbor who keeps a nice lawn if you are not sure) cause many people have to add some seed to bare or thin spots, as if you throw down a different grass type; it will grow at a different rate, and could be a miss-matched awkward texture and color compared to everything else ....I had this happen with my yard; someone had previously "fixed" a big spot(looked like where they had left a big pile of leaves or maybe had a pool) and used fescue seed in a big circle in the middle of a nice bluegrass lawn, and it always looked weird - so it was a real pain to kill it all off and repatch it

Looks odd when there are a sections of different grass types. Worth it to kill it all off like you did. Pain though for sure.

Ha! Not sure. Thank you though, glad you found it. Figured you needed something to get you through this snowy April Sunday.

Just patiently waiting for my new KBG lawn to wake up! It looked immaculate in the 4-6 weeks after seeding, was mowable every 3 days, and stayed dark green through December- but it's sloooowly getting its color back compared to some of the neighbor's basic lawns.

For real, still waiting here too. I think we’re all ready for some fresh air and lawn stripes. Cheers!

Do you edit these yourself? Is your dayjob in film production or something? I’ve noticed how polished and great everything looks along with the subtle sfx really bringing everything to life. Really high-end stuff!

Hi Stephen, thanks for noticing! I shoot and edit these myself. I don’t work in film production, I teach middle school special Ed. However, I like trying to learn the craft. You work in that industry? Most wouldn’t recognize sfx, etc.
