Is DigiTrax New DCS52 a problem programming SoundTraxx DCC? It is NMRA approved. If Not... Should I sell it on ebay and invest into something else for SoundTraxx DCC CV programming. Note: I have done some DCC CV Programming on Digitrax DCS52 but nothing advanced. Please advise... Thank You.

The DCS52 apparently does have issues programming CVs above 257, as do prior generations of the DCS50 and 51, If you contact Digitrax, they say to ask us, but the decoder cannot respond to ‘user intent’, the decoder needs a DCC command to change these CVs. Until they fix the firmware, there are limitations. Now, I have also heard form a 3rd party user that they were experimenting with an update that would allow this, but I cannot comment as to its availability to the user.. yet. I hope this helps. Question: I have a Blinking red LED I wan to install in a caboose, but it will not work on DCC track voltage. I works perfectly on a 9v battery. A non-blinking LED will work very nicely from DCC track voltage . What can I do to fix this??

I have the digital controller from ROCO (Rocomultimaus). But with this control, I am unable to access the engine on and off of my Atheran Genesis SD 90 H phase II locomotive, with Tsunami II decoder. What is the command I give to turn the sound on and off? (It is not the mute function) I want to know how to turn the engine of the locomotive on and off, as in normal normal operation. Hello, We are not familiar with all command stations, but F27 would shut it down and F26 would start it up. Im not sure if you can access functions that high with this system. Im also not sure if you can access the CVs needed to do function mapping with this system. You will need to contact your command station manufacturer for that info.

@@SoundtraxxDCC Good Morning ! It was exactly this information that I needed to know, that the F 26 turns on the sound of the machine and the F 27 turns off the sound of the locomotive. I have enough European train. But I also have several North American trains, some of them Atheran and Atheran Genesis and it is precisely the Tsunami / Tsunami II decoder that has these very high on / off vestments. The rest, no! Is there different cab chatter for the 4014 big boy (150th Annaversary Promontory edit?) I have a diesel chatter ( i.e Amtrack) on my BigBoy I'm getting really disappointed if that's what I got with my BigBoy and can't change it. Any ideas HELP PLEASE 🥺

Cab chatter is the same on all Tsunami2 decoders, so yes, this is also what you’ll hear on the Big Steam. I turn the volume down so that the sound of cab chatter is there, but not strong enough to be heard clearly. This was not specified by Athearn to change.
