When Isolator operates or Open on On load, it causes high amount of spark which may cause damage to it parts. Absence of Arc quenching medium unable to extinguish/interrupt the arc while operate on load condition. Hence ensure to operate on No load ensuring CB Open. However, Isolator can interrupt of small amount of inductive/capacitive currents to acceptable design limit corresponds to type and voltage class.

Earth switch is not used for line only .Earth switch is installed in the two ISOLATOR between Breaker and toward breaker side of both isolator

If you open (turn off) a non-load break rated disconnect under load, it may get sparky, smoky, or worse.

If we operates isolators while on load then heavy spark will occur and can cause problem for the operators and other devices due to switching without arc quenching medium.

In practical the isolator can withstand it for some number of times .IPS tube of isolator had rating upto 2400 Amps etc And the copper finger of isolator may ger melted in some cases but not always.

@@imeprezime1285(we are creating a short circuit) which use a binder that has a lower melting point, welding joins the two workpieces directly together. Understanding this difference is key to understanding welding
