I had to do course after 5 years on CSG rigs cause the company I worked for only enrolled us in cert 2 and 3 to keep us working. Just did a week of night shifts for free. Cert 2 should take up to at least 6 months on a rig. The offsiders and driller on the training rig didn't even know how to adjust backend to close the tube gap in the barrel when we were in fractured gound. Kept wedging off, problem solved. Then the water swivel started leaking, was hardly greased, I asked if had a rebuild kit they said we send it to workshop to do that. Was a show

Old mate on the leavers, hand on the winchline no gloves, goes up with with it while the hand is holding on to the winchline, drags his hand down without any gloves again. Great example set of what NOT to do 👍
