Thanks for these videos! I plan to get the CanVac 55l as a dedicated dust collector for my woodturning sanding. As I'm in the US, I wanted to know what the power outlet requirements are on these awesome vacuum systems--do they work with US standards? I've a 110v 220v and 240v three phase in my shop.

Nice setup. I'm really curious about the 3 motor unit. No one made a video about that one. Will you make one in the near future?

Thanks for the Videos - 2 questions - 1 - are the 2.5" hoses to reduce the noise specific for noise reduction or any 2.5" would do? how long do they need to be? 2 - I just got the 3 motor one from you - specifically for 3HP SawStop - where is the best place to split the suction between 4" ( bottom of saw)and 2.5" (for the top - blade shroud))? is it better to split by the Camvac intake or by the saw (have a connector with main 4" and a 2.5" angled going to the top of the saw? Thanks.

Hey Ethan, have you see anyone combine these with a dust deputy or similar separator ahead of the intake to remove some of the storage capacity? Would you see significant reduction in CFM with an approach like that?

Wow, that dual motor sure has some power.👍🏽

It sure is! Sucks the paint right off your machines 😂
Do you need to use the full 2.5 m length of hose to quieten it or could you cut 1 in half?

Can you put a plastic bag in them so that you don't have to dump the sawdust out? Thus reducing the amount of dust being put back in the air.

Where in the US can you buy?

It seems that these only come in 220v though? Shame, I only have one 220v outlet in my shed and the lathe uses it 🙁

The smaller Rikon is 110v but the more powerful Record Power units are all 220v yes. Due to them being so powerful they do require 220v power...thankfully they come with a quite a long cord so they can be positioned around the shop. IMO worth installing another 220v outlet as these things are awesome!
